This page will help you determine how much product you will need to accomplish your landscape project.

In order to figure out approximately how much of a particular product will be needed to complete your landscaping project you must first have a square foot measurement.

Determining the square footage is done by measuring the Length X Width of the area. Then decide how deep you need to have the product.

As an example: If your house is 75 feet long and you need to come out four feet away from the house then the total area is 300 sq. feet (75 X 4=300). If you plan having a depth of two inches and the product is American Heritage then the table below will tell you how many tons of stone is needed. The American Heritage covers approximately 100 sq. ft per ton and 300 sq. feet is needed or three tons for the two inch depth.
If a four inch depth is required, multiply the tons by two for a total of six tons.


The table lists the area (in square feet) to a depth of two inches for each ton of stone:
